Project Chicken Scratch is an idea that hatched from a desire for women to help women. Made from bits and pieces, donated time, and much love, 100% of the profit from the sale of each Chicken Scratch item goes directly into seed money to provide micro loans to women in San Jose and San Marco, El Salvador. Each chicken is hand crafted.

Some of us have traveled to rural villages in El Salvador and have seen the need. We have forged relationships. We personally know that a little bit of money can change a person’s life. We return to El Salvador once a year and will monitor the loans and progress of grateful women.
